Privacy Policy

This page explains what information Sloctech collects when you use sloctech.in, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short because the list is short.

1. What we collect

What you send us. When you use the contact form, a quote form or the domain request form, we receive what you type: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, company name, the service you are interested in, a rough budget if you choose one, and your message.

Server logs. Like every website, our hosting keeps standard access logs (the address of your device, the pages requested, the browser used and the time). We use them only to keep the site secure and working, and they are kept for a short period before being deleted.

Domain orders. If you buy a domain name through this site, the payment is taken by Razorpay, which handles your card or bank details under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of the payment and the registrant details needed to register the domain in your name.

2. Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, deliver the work you ask for, register a domain you order, and keep a record of the conversation so we do not ask you the same questions twice. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

3. How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept while a conversation or project is open, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to it. If you ask us to delete them, we do, unless a record has to be kept for accounting or legal reasons (an invoice, for example).

4. Who else sees it

Only the providers we need to run the site and deliver the work: our hosting provider, our email provider, and Razorpay for domain payments. Each acts on our instructions. Information travels to us over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

We work with clients in several countries. If your business is subject to the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, Australia's Privacy Act, the UAE Personal Data Protection Law or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and you need a written data-processing agreement for a project, raise it with us before the project starts.

5. Cookies

The site sets only the cookie it needs to keep a form submission secure while you fill it in. There is no analytics or advertising cookie.

6. What you can ask us

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Write to us and we will reply within one working day with what we have done or need from you.

7. Contact

Questions about this policy go to the same place as everything else: the contact page. Sloctech is based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We do not change how your information is used without saying so here.
